Cambridge Community Circus (aka CamCircus or CCC) is a not-for-profit community group focused on promoting circus in Cambridge, UK.
We offer a wide range of disciplines and levels so even if you are an absolute beginner, we are confident that you will find what suits you and enjoy your experience!
UPDATES
EGM on 18th February 2024 (Sunday): The CCC Committee wants to make an important update to its members. After dealing with an important and complex issue related to the financial and legal status of CCC, the next step for CCC is to register as an incorporated organisation, something that the Committee would like to discuss with all CCC members. Digitising forms: We have successfully digitised participant forms. Whenever someone signs up for a class they'll be able to fill out a form as part of their enrolment, and this will include information about their health and any injuries etc. Teachers will be able to view their students' information, creating a quicker and more accessible process for ensuring safety of every student.
Safeguarding: CCC has been reviewed for safeguarding and advised on how best to move forwards to update our safeguarding policy. We are working hard to fulfil the requirements laid out for us and this will also allow us to bring back kids classes in the spring.
Facebook group for active members: We now have a new Facebook group for our active members. An active member is defined as someone who has attended CCC within the past 6 months. This is allowing us to share relevant information with active members without posting unnecessarily in a public group. You can join this group here.
CHANGE IN PARTICIPANTS CONDITIONS
We are delighted to announce that under 18 years old can now attend juggling sessions as long as a parent or a guardian is present and watching them at all times. In terms of aerial, we are currently working on finding alternative time slots separate from adult classes and we are currently lacking enough teachers that are available at suitable times provided by the church.
We are working hard to bring these classes back for participants who are under 18 years old if/when possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding whilst we do this. Any queries, please e-mail the committee. Thank you.
