CAMBRIDGE COMMUNITY CIRCUS
🌟Roadmap to Reopening🌟
We're sure everyone is looking forward to circus fun again - we know we are! The committee met at the end of February, and in line with the government’s roadmap here’s the plan:
May 17th is the earliest date that ‘indoor group sports and exercise classes’ can open and we aim to open soon after that date, initially for aerial teachers only. There will of course be lots of restrictions on group sizes and equipment use and we will outline these nearer the time according to government advice. We will restrict the numbers in these first sessions so that we can get experience of how our Covid measures are working and of the practicalities of running aerial in a time of Covid.
At some point after that we will open for signed off aerialists and ground based training. We don’t yet have a target date for this and the details will be informed by our experience during the first sessions.
Later again we will open for general participation including taught aerial courses. We have not yet discussed the format for general aerial sessions and much of the detail will depend on government advice which is simply not available at the moment. Non-signed-off people, we are so sorry not to be able to give you any certainty but that’s just the way it is at the moment, we care about you and we very much want to open up to everyone and be truly ‘community’ as we always have been.
Between now and May 17th we will of course be doing the detailed planning and organisation to ensure that reopening is as safe as it can possibly be and we aim to review things again in the weeks before we open so watch this space and maybe do some conditioning!
See you soon (but not soon enough),
